OTTP offers a variety of volunteer opportunities to get involved and make a meaningful difference in the lives of the youth we serve.

Puzzle Inventory: Complete puzzles, split them into quadrants, and place sections into individual ziploc bags for easier use during therapy sessions. This helps keep anxiety and frustration low by allowing youth to work through puzzles at a manageable pace.

Food Kit Assembly: Assemble food kits by placing nonperishable items, such as pasta, jarred sauce, canned mushrooms, and parmesan cheese, into a grocery bag along with a recipe card, giving youth everything they need to prepare a meal. This teaches a new life skill while providing nourishment to youth and their families in a dignified, shame-free way.

Build, Bake, Create Sale: Host your own fundraiser, like a bake sale, lemonade stand, or jewelry sale, and donate the proceeds to OTTP-NorCal. Funds can go toward transportation fees to help youth get to and from therapy, job interview attire for our employment programs, and grocery gift cards for clients experiencing food insecurity. No amount is too small.

Magazine Collection: Collect magazines from friends, neighbors, or through social media and donate them to OTTP. We are especially in need of magazines geared toward teens and men, and those that represent a diverse range of races and ethnicities. Magazines are used regularly to create vision boards and collages that help youth set healthy goals for their futures.
