At OTTP-NorCal, you'll do meaningful work alongside passionate colleagues, helping young people heal, grow, and thrive across Northern California.
Join our team at Independence High School (IHS), a small and friendly alternative school site in the Inner Sunset. This role works closely with our Clinical Supervisor, primarily onsite at IHS, with strong collaboration and support built into the position.
IHS is a small, close-knit alternative school community. OTTP is deeply integrated into school life here, and our Clinical Supervisor provides ongoing collaboration and support.
Given the importance of trust and continuity for students in alternative school settings, we ask that candidates be prepared to commit to the full school year.
“I love working at OTTP because there's nothing better than feeling proud, encouraged, and inspired by youth finding their passions, gifts, and talents! It's also a privilege and honor to have such creative, compassionate, and dedicated colleagues!”
— Rita Chawla, OTR/L
“It feels rewarding to give back to the community that I grew up in. When I go to work, I feel like I'm actually engaging in meaningful real life occupations out in the community and not limited to a therapy room. I experience a sense of support, community, and friendship with my colleagues.”
— Janelle Buccat, MS, OTR/L · Program Manager
“I worked for OTTP for 7 years before leaving, and I didn't even make it a year before I came right back. They've always supported us in finding new and creative ways to meet the needs of our clients, and I always felt like I had folks to really collaborate with rather than trying to do challenging work in isolation.”
— Micah Lessans, MSW, LCSW · Clinical Supervisor
